Savory – Taste of Summer™ Savory
Use this savory plant to flavor beans, meat, cheese, or vegetable dishes. Finely chopped leaves can be added to soups and stews near the end of their cooking time. Use to flavor oil or vinegar.
Summer Savory Vinaigrette
2 tbsp. white wine vinegar
1/4 c. olive oil
1 shallot, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp. savory leaves, chopped
Combine all ingredients and use to dress potatoes, chicken, salads, etc.
