Average, well drained soil. Best if pruned immediately after blooming. To renew the plant simply cut it to the ground after flowering. Medium moisture. It's a Beauty Bush with interest all season long. The beautiful golden leaves with tips of bronze makes it interesting all season long! If starting production in a greenhouse move to cool, outdoor conditions as soon as the plant is rooted to the pot edge. Plants grown warm in greenhouses are soft and leggy. -One pinch while rooting is probably necessary.
