Grower Tips

-Bulking them the year before is best when growing in larger sizes (2 gallon containers). When grown in smaller sizes (6" and 1 gallon containers), they can be grown and sold in one season, but bulking the year before can still be beneficial for producing a superior plant.

-Protect plants from direct, hot sun since this can cause plant stress, this is common with late summer planting. Keeping plants more moist during hot temperatures will reduce plant wilt and stress.

-Plant plugs even with the top of the soil.

-Cold vernalization and Long Days are required for flowering, but plants can be sold as a foliage item without vernalization or Long Day treatment.
