Basil – Red Wine Vinegar™ Basil
Aromatic basil leaves add a spicy flavor to vinegars, sauces, salads and meat dishes. Tastes great with fish, poultry, mild vegetables and eggplant.
Basil-Infused Red Wine Vinegar
1 large bunch basil, cleaned
3 c. red wine vinegar
Combine the two ingredients in a large, sterilized re-sealable, glass container. Store in a cool, dry place. (Great for vinaigrettes.) Yield: 3 cups infused vinegar.
